Word cannot start the thesaurus
Cause:
Either there is insufficient memory, or the Thesaurus files are not located in the proper place or are damaged.
Solution:
Free system memory (by closing any open applications and windows) or make sure the Thesaurus files are located in the WINWORD directory. If the files are not located, reinstall the Thesaurus.
Do one of the following:
1) Free system memory.
a) Close open applications:
1] Right-click on the taskbar button for the application and select 'Close' from the shortcut menu.
2] Click 'Close' to close the application.
b) Close open windows.
2) If the thesaurus files are not in the WINWORD directory, reinstall the thesaurus.
